Research: Mainly working with production animals and especially in the field of pathology related to infections due to bacteria and fungi. Also committed to work with laboratory animals with focus on the refinement and elucidation of types of reaction during initial infections and development of inflammation.
Teaching: Teaching veterinary students different topics of special veterinary pathology through both practicals (necropsy, histopathology, and diagnostic pathology) and lectures.
Postgraduate teaching is mainly arranged by University of Copenhagen as joint courses. Courses of forensic pathology and meat inspection are regularly provided at different levels.
