Introduction: The internationalization of studies is a strategic direction at Vilnius University (VU). This presentation outlines the inventory of internationalization activities within the pharmacy study program at VU.

Method: The Pharmacy study program underwent a review by the pharmacy study program committee as part of European Union project No. 09.3.3-EFSA-V-738-03-0001. The overall current situation was assessed, and internationalization activities were identified and discussed.

Results: The Pharmacy program curriculum comprises 32 obligatory and 6 elective courses. Two obligatory courses, "Pharmacotherapy and Rational Use of Medicines" and "Development of Management and Pharmaceutical Care Skills (GIMMICS)," as well as two electives, "Drug Utilization Research" and "Intercultural Competencies in Pharmaceutical Practice," include internationalization activities. These activities encompass the integration of international student groups, educational cooperation between lecturers from different universities, and the development of specific learning objectives, teaching methods, and assessment approaches targeting internationalization. Institutional support, including financial assistance, is essential to ensure the sustainability of all activities.

Conclusions: In general, the Pharmacy program at VU incorporates internationalization activities into the curriculum. There is a need to expand these activities across a broader range of courses and pay more attention to developing specific learning objectives and assessment strategies that would strengthen internationalization.
