The results show that severe mastitis is caused almost as frequently by Gram-positive as by Gram-negative microorganisms. The low cytologicalcureratesshowthatthetherapyneedstobefurtherdevelopedwithregardtocalmingthe inflammation. The obtained data can be very helpful in assessing internal mastitis scenarios and the effect of measures and therapies.",
