A large number of different species growth in the Danish forests. Some species are considered native, because the are believed to have arrived to the country through naturally dispersal seed. Other species are considerd exotics in the sense that they were introduced by humans. In this chapter I discuss the history of both native and exotic tree species in Dansih forests.
