N2 - For high signal-to-noise ratios the channel quality is limited by phase variations in frequency and space. The probability distributions of group delay, Doppler shift, and bandwidth were found; for the first two they were student's t-distributions. The probability distributions depend only on the first and second moments of the power profiles, not on the details of the distribution of scatterers. Implications for signal transmission are discussed briefly.
