I joined the Department of Psychology as an associate professor in November 2020. My main research interests are within the area of clinical and health psychology. Specially, I am interested in how individuals react differently to trauma and on how symptoms posttraumatic stress disorder develop over time in trauma-exposed individuals. Moreover, I have an interest in applying and developing methods for studying the complexity of psychopathology and mental health and on applying machine learning methods for the prediction of mental health problems following trauma exposure.
