My research focuses on 19th century post-kantian thought; especially the religious, ethical, existential, and political aspects of Hegel and Kierkegaard's works. I am also interested in feminist theory and aesthetics.
Thematically, I am interested in the nature of modernity, the migration of religious concepts into "secular" moral discourse, critical theories of gender, labor, class, and race, and Greek tragedy.
From 2024-2026 I hold a postdoc position at the University of Southampton, where I am affiliated with the ERC-funded project "Ethics of Doubt." https://www.ethicsofdoubt.org/
