ABCinema and Super 8 Technology
Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding › Book chapter › Research › peer-review
Danish avant-garde film has been pioneered mainly by visual artists. When small portable, cheap comeras appeared in the 1960s, a new generation of avant-garde artists started maiking films as part of the cross-aesthetic experiments going on in the circles of the Experimental School of Art in Copenhagen. In 1968 they formed the film collective ABCinema.
