Management experience

Research

I have served as an independent research leader of Gut Hormone Biology (since 2013). I have been a PI of several research projects, latest Dietary fiber as a nutraceutical to protect against intestinal diseases funded from Lundbeck.

Other

I am highly involved in pre-graduate teaching at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. I serve as a course leader responsible for anatomy teaching of medical students at 5th semester and have teaching obligations in anatomy and histology. This also includes management of teaching staff, preparing exams etc. I have been a member of the Study Board of Medicine since 2016 and member of the dispensation committee since 2018. I am appointed as work environment leader and have been a member of the working environment committee (LAMU) since 2018.
