abstract = "Isolated secondary breast tuberculosis (TB) is an uncommon entity. This is a case report of a 27-year-old female who presented with a tumour in the breast. After four months with tedious examinations a positive polymerase chain reaction for TB was finally found, and the patient recovered after ten months of TB therapy and drainage of the abscess. One year later, a recurrence was seen after the patient had been breast feeding. Therapy was repeated, and more extensive surgery was performed with surgical excision of the abscess cavity, the fibrous tract to the pleura and resection of a pleural section. The patient achieved a full recovery afterwards.",
