Empirical, theoretical and clinical research in Eating Disorders including obesity research and development of body image; Psychotherapy research (nomothetic and ideographic) including therapist and client variables, therapy-client match and therapist-client match, therapeutic alliances, therapist adherence and competence, specific and non-specific therapeutic factors; Historical research in clinical psychology and of specific clinical diagnoses; research in specific therapeutic methods, e.g. psychoanalytic psychotherapy and cognitive behavior therapy (see section 2)
