Well-being and crisis during the Covid-19 crisis in Denmark

Abstract
At present, studies have pointed to deteriorated health and well-being during the Covid-19. Yet many studies are based on cross sectional studies and few have followed the same respondents over time. This paper investigates whether there are long term changes in psychological wellbeing and health at an individual level during the Covid-19-crisis and the three periods of partial lock-downs in Denmark.

The paper is based on the responses from panel of persons who have responded to a survey during May 2020, September-October 2020 and March 2021 (1.532 to 1.100 participants). Among other themes, general wellbeing (WHO5) and health were addressed together with items addressing respondents’ experienced crisis or meningfulness during the crisis.
