Postdoc

I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen. I conducted the laboratory work for my master´s thesis in the lab of Thomas F. Meyer at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology in Berlin, Germany, from 2014 - 2015. In 2015, I received my MSc in biochemistry, and in the beginning of 2016 I started my PhD in Niels Mailand´s "Ubiquitin Signaling Group" at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR) at the University of Copenhagen.

The research of our group focuses on the DNA damage/replication stress response and how ubiquitin and SUMO signaling influences repair and recovery following DNA damage/replication stress. My research is mainly focused on DNA-protein crosslinks (DPCs) with a strong emphasis on the role of SUMO signaling.
