I am a highly committed and dedicated scientist who is very enthusiastic and fascinated about the nature of parasitism. My work has primarily been focused on molecular parasitology exploring transmission routes, evolutionary relationship of parasites, mechanisms behind host-parasite interaction and parasite biology. I have several years of experience with experimental worm infection in pigs. I love teaching and supervision and find student interaction exciting.
I thrive in a position where I can utilize my professional and personal skills. I am passionate about bringing out the best in people and to reach own and common goals. I am excited about excellence and when people perform at their best. I set ambitious goals and use my innovative and strategic way of thinking to initiate means and projects that will help me to reach these. I work independently and find teamwork inspiring. Productivity and efficiency is important to me, but at the same time it is essential that people around me thrive.
